These competitive grants are provided as a match to Wisconsin companies that receive Small Business Innovation Research and Technology Transfer funding from US Federal agencies (SBIR and STTR). Microscopy Innovations has received two STTR contracts from the US Department of Defense to develop devices to improve the microscopy preparation of potentially pathogenic specimens for research and countermeasure development.
