A marketing and distribution specialist with a substantial laboratory products background, Nelson brings over 20 years of experience in distribution and sales of laboratory products.
He is a former owner and VP Sales and Marketing of Nelson-Jameson, Inc., a distribution company serving food manufacturers and food-safety labs throughout North America. He is a founder of angel network Marshfield Investment Partners and serves on the boards of BioIonix, Inc., Maple Island, Inc., and previously served on the board of the Marshfield Clinic Research Foundation. He received his BA at Lawrence University and an MBA with distinction from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University.
A professor, entrepreneur and international consultant on microscopy, Goodman developed Microscopy Innovations’ core technology. He holds over 20 patents, has written over 100 scientific publications on microscopy and biomedical topics, serves on editorial boards of scientific and trade journals, and serves on NIH and NSF scientific review panels. He earned his BS at the University of Massachusetts-Amherst, and both his MS in biomedical engineering and PhD in cell biology and biomaterials at the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
