04 Mar AN606 Automated Post-embedding Immunogold Labeling on TEM Grids
Automated post-embedding (on grid) immunogold labeling of sectioned liver and of whole mount bacteria with ultra-small gold. The total hands-on time for automated labeling, followed by automated uranyl acetate staining, required 30-60 minutes for the ~4 hr procedure, which may even be done overnight. In contrast, manual IGL required about 8 hours of hands on time.
